What is the Corner Store?

The Corner Store is our newest dining concept, created exclusively for Oak Room Members. Born in New York, The Corner Store brings an intimate, spirited energy to The Oak Room, where the food is soulful, the martinis are cold, and every seat feels like the best one in the house.

Who may visit the Corner Store?

The Corner Store is reserved for Oak Room Members and their guests. It is one more privilege of your membership, and it is yours alone to share.

When is the Corner Store open?

The Corner Store welcomes Members Monday through Saturday, opening each evening at 5:00 p.m.

Is there a dress code?

Yes. We ask that guests observe the same refined dress code you know from The Oak Room, so the room always feels its best.

Is there an age requirement?

Guests must be 21 years of age or older.
Exceptions may be made at the discretion of management; however, this must be approved in advance.

May I book a private dining experience?

Absolutely. Our private dining room seats up to 12 guests.
It is ideal for a celebration, a business gathering, or an evening among close friends.

RESERVATIONS AT THE CORNER STORE

How do I make a reservation?

Reservations open two weeks in advance and may be booked online through your Oak Room Member portal.
For a personal touch, reach out Max Fischer, our Reservations Curator, at Max.Fischer@oakroomhouston.com.
Max looks after every detail, from your table to a special occasion, and is always glad to help.
The room is intimate and holds a limited number of tables, so we encourage you to reserve early.

What is your cancellation policy?

Plans change, and we understand. We ask only that you let us know in advance.
Same day cancellations are subject to a $100 fee, and we extend a fifteen-minute grace period for late arrivals.
If you are going to be later than 15 minutes, please reach out directly to 346-227-5171.

What dining options are available in The Oak Room?

As an Oak Room Member, you have three wonderful ways to dine:

• The Corner Store menu, served only in the Corner Store, is our new signature offering and reason enough to reserve your table.

• The Oak Room menu, available in The Oak Room Lounge, remains unchanged and as inviting as ever.
  It is our late-night menu, crafted for the room.

• Delivered dining from our campus restaurants, including Mastro's Steakhouse, Willie G's Seafood, Craft F&B, and Bloom & Bee, brings their signature dishes to you.

Has the Oak Room menu changed?

Not at all. With the opening of the Corner Store, The Oak Room menu stays exactly as you know it.
Think of the Corner Store as something new to look forward to, never a replacement for a single thing you already love.
